Laboratory Introduction:

This Lab. was established in August 2006. The major mission was to continue the principal investigator's research topics in Animal Technology Institute Taiwan (ATIT) and to apply molecular genetics and proteomics related technical platform in studying and developing reproduction related molecular markers in livestock and poultry. The Lab. also participating the project for constructing  a facility for isolated studies of GMO in transgenic livestock and poultry by playing roles in monitoring the proteomes of transgenic animals.

Research Topics:

1. Proteomic study and development of markers for reproduction and thermotolerance in livestock.

2. Monitoring of the proteome of transgenic animals.

3. Proteomic study on the chaperosome of spermatogenic cells.

4. Molecular mechanism of sperm motility/capacitation.
