II. Research topic
1. Transcriptomic and proteomic study on the termotolerace of Taiwan country chickens
2. Study on the genome-wide single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in Taiwan country chickens and different breeds of pigs
3. Others
Applying proteomics-based platforms to investigate responses to nanomaterial, footpad dermatitis-related proteins, and phosphoproteome in sperms of chickens.
III. Important equipment in the Lab.
The Lab. possesses basic equipment required for proteomic analysis (including sample preparation, two-dimensional gel electrophoresis, gel scanning, and image analysis), phase contrast microscope equipped with photography software, and two climate chambers. The high-end equipment for proteomic study were achieved through cooperation with Labs in National Tsing-Hua University and China Medical University.
